Well, it seems that my frequency of updating my blog has changed from daily ( hardly ever), to weekly (seldom) and now monthly! Haha, of course I will try not to make it into yearly. =P
First of all, I'm fine and well and good here! No worries~ Perhaps a better way to view my status is through facebook? But I guess blogging is different cause I get to describe things in a more detailed manner. On the other hand I dont feel like writing stuff which is more private as I will prefer chat in msn..I know i know..i sound so annoying right now~ =.=" right, let's start then.
My first month in sydney was BUSY BUSY BUSY BUSY~~~~~~~~~
I shall categorise my business into a few components :
a) University life on studies~ Lectures are jam packed everyday with unfinished work and never ending assignments (more to come), lecture notes are pilling up until I think i have lost some of them already. Often I will reach home feeling tired with sore back, stiff muscle and a dead face.. Fortunately, there are a bunch of friends who are on the same boat so I dont feel that bad at the end of the day! =)
b) University life on clubs and societies ~ I join the Malaysian club which also known as SUAMS as well as the buddhist society (uniboddhi). I participated in an event similar to amazing race during the second week organized by SUAMS where my team mate and I were required to go around sydney to accomplish several tasks. Proud to annouce that we were the last team to arrive because we didnt 'race' for the competition, basically we just WALKED throughout the race and took heaps of pictures, anyway it was a great experience though. Then, on the third week I went to Wollongong which is a small suburb with my buddhist members. It took us around 2 hours on the train to reach there but we hardly can feel that the journey was long since all of us were pretty talkative there. =) We went to visit a buddhist temple, Nan tien temple which is the largest temple in southern hemisphere!! It was just awesome to be there, with gorgeous weather, nice people and most importantly it made me feel home! =))))) Well, basically I didnt get to involve in much of the activities because I cant stay at uni until too late and my timetable doesnt allow me to attend for most of the meetings. =( However, I really hope that I can join more activities next time..
c) Besides Uni ~ I'm working part time now in sydney, just 2 days per week but it's sufficient to explain why my life is so busy that I cant be active in my clubs. =/ Well, think of the brighter side, it's a golden opportunity to train me to be a better person, to look at the world at a different prospective and to really get into the life here. I know starting it's hard, especially for a noob like me that is exceptionally slow in adapting new things, but I will try my best to improve myself!!!
d) Besides Uni part 2 : Apart of meeting khar mun and soon yee during orietation day, I met up with yen shian aka my lovely neighbour who is staying nearby my uni! =) My heart will feel so warm and home when I meet my friends~ Had a great day with her taking pics in my uni!
e) Family : My aunt and her family is really sweet and caring, feel completely blissed having them here. That's why I must be very obedient to avoid causing them any trouble. =P
f) Food : Too much to tell on this..but i'm definitely like the fresh food here because it's so FRESH....the vege OMG..fresh until as though it's just harvested on the spot~ really..too much to tell...perhaps tell u guys when i'm back...But one thing..I still miss the food in malaysia very much..especially spicy food..haha..all the curry!!!!!! Nasi lemak!!!
Well..have to continue with my work, will update next time!!
Take care my friends~
May u all be happy and well always~
Love,
yee
