Valentine's day

Wishing all lovely couples a very sweet and romantic valentine's day!
for me, it's a single awareness day..thanks for siew fong that keeps on reminding me since the beginning of the week...anyway, i did a little test on my love life since i'm wondering when valentine's day will be a valentine's day for me..okay, and it turns out that my love life is like a fairytale..=.="" pyin nie will definitely agree on that though, but fairytale is nothing more than fantasy...no point indulge in it and wake up to realise that it's only a dream...BUT sometimes i really hope that there's 'happily ever after' lo...living in fantasy isnt a bad thing afterall! wait till somebody slap me awake bah! ( i have a feeling that the person will be tung tung) Well, one thing for sure, i believe that everyday is valentines when u have found yr true love! =) so, good luck in searching yr valentine!!

so..january has just slipped away and here comes FEBRUARY..gosh, one month...can u recall what u have done in this 31 days??? Time really flies, wasted one month basically doing nothing..or something useless..day dreaming..sleeping..watching tv..T.T this is so not chaiyee!! I have got to PLAN my timetable and FOLLOW it in order to make FULL use of my 24 hours...not going to waste even a single second anymore...life keeps going on and college is getting more hectic and challenging...=)

here's a summary of my first month in taylors

1. Mixing around with new friends and classmates.

It's kinda fun knowing new faces, shaking hands and repeating the same phrase 'hey, i'm aster! Nice to meet you!' i do hope 50% of them can remember my name, or at least my face..cause it's really hard for me to store 20++ names in a few minutes...but by now i can easily list out all my 24 classmates' names! =)

2. Coping with new subjects and lecturers

I have decided to put my sciences aside and pursue in art subjects - economics, accounting, maths and law. I find them interesting and i'm sure that with more reading and self-studying i can understand the subjects better, too bad there's no more spoon feeding in college. >.<>> Ms Brooke ROX!!! She makes thinking skills so lively that i really really miss her NOW! We have total freedom in her classes, mobiles, food, even fighting and vulgar words are allowed..as long as we can get the answers right in her exercises...cutest and funniest teacher i have ever met!!

3. Searching for food besides AC (Asia cafe)

No more canteen aunties and uncles,cafeteria in taylors is uhm...highly not recommended. At first my friends and i went to Ac for lunch almost EVERYDAY and we get bored with the food there...the price is also killing us..so we started to explore the cafes in subang..hehe..the best that we have tried is a stall selling 'pork mee' behind taylors business school..near adp building...worth trying it!! it's juicy and delicious...cant wait to try out more good food here!!!

have also participated in some activities organized by taylors, F.U.N night which afterall not that fun..quite disappointed though...but the other party which was only for CAL students was enjoyable =) had a good laugh and crazy time with my group members ( all october babies), one thing that i regret so much is that i forgot to bring my mobile phone to that party! T.T i hardly meet my group members in college, maybe cal is way too big in taylors....sigh..only get to keep in touch with wei siong and wei guang...better than none though...

Anyway, chinese new year is coming!!! Let's hope for the best in 2008!!!! Smile, Laugh, Talk, Play, Have fun and enjoy life!!

So close yet so far....

yea, here goes my second post. College life has started for a month, well..incase some of my high school friends dont know..i'm currently studying in taylors taking cambridge a levels programme, feel free to find me there!!! although my timetable is really pack(average is fr 8-4 everyday), i'm enjoying my lessons...so far so good. =) oh, i drop all my science subjects and take up business..econs, acc, mths and law!! i will miss biology though but since i didnt plan to further into sciences so might as well leave them now...anyway, i have great lecturers in pb3, great friends..well..100% gentlemen which are all so polite that i think i'm rude in a way...overall girls are ruling the class at the moment, i'm still waiting those guys to show their true colours since i suppose everyone will present their best side in the beginning of semester? i will update more about my class soon..

now back to my topic of the day..so close yet so far, i have been using this phrase since the starting of year2008..it's sounds so simple but u just wouldnt understand it unless u experience it yourself. okay, here's a few incidents that i have encountered,

the first one..on the way to taylors in the morning EVERYDAY =.="usually, mei mei and i will be chatting happily in the car since we are all the while accelerating along the highway and easily pass by sunway pyramid in 10minutes time, then suddenly we will feel the slowness around us...then the car comes to a halt for like forever in front of a roundabout where taylors business school's building is just in front of you ( almost)...the traffic is so conjested that we can do nothing but wait wait wait in order to move an inch forward...a pathetic scene that perfectly matches my title of this post.

next, during the 5 minutes time for us to switch our classroom ( classes are conducted in diff classroom every period)can u imagine 700 students are coming out at the same time and they can only squeeze in ONE narrow corridor? everyone is pushing each other, i dont have to move at all cause i will be waved down by them...once i actually stopped a few metres away from my classroom and stared hopelessly at the ppl blocking me...sigh, i hate this =.=

and well, today...a guy that i really love just passed by me without a word nor a glance...we were so close but i just glued myself on the chair and watched him went away...sigh...indescribable feelings cause my heart was empty at that moment...i'm forcing myself to let go..it's the only solution...only way to stop my tears from flooding my room every night...sigh..cant u just talk to me?

Introduction

finally, i have created a blog...for the past few years, i have been wondering why ppl want to own a blog since i thought it would be a waste of time to write a long piece about ourselves and let the whole world know about it...

well, but i wanted a blog long ago..just to share some interesting pieces with all my friends and not forget to post some recipe of cakes and desserts >.<> owning a bakery was once my dream though...

somebody says that a blog is like a diary, but it's not for me as diary is the most private and confidential 'property' in my life..hehe..have been keeping diary for 6 years and will continue to pour my soul out into it. =)



















* my diaries - the red one is the latest and it has no lock at all!!! i cant believe that i will use it..but nowadays diary..i mean the typical ones with lock and plain layout is rare in the market (in kl at least)..and it's sooooo expensive!!!! so i rather choose to use the current one since it's free of charge =P


* the keys to all my secrets for the past 6 years


















p/s: can somebody tell me how to link frens, creat a chat box etc etc??? i'm totally lost..
